Learning From My Betting Failures
Posted in Casino on 01/30/2010 08:22 am by Alejandra1st to explain why I write this article. I have been gambling on the internet or at land-based betting houses for many years. I have learned, the dependency can take a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are flat broke. Especially if you are on a winning run. I’ve gone through many thousands of dollars in a very short period of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go a bit too far. It appears you are just having fun until you start to track your loss and the guilt sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can earn it back" constantly. It doesn’t works. Then you become queasy in your gut and the harder you attempt the quicker you lose.
When you see that you’re up, STAY on the UP! When you start to lose, do not say to yourself, "well just maybe one more" and over and over again, believe me, this plan almost never ever functions. Say you’re betting on slot games, have a bankroll set to the side before beginning your play. DO NOT exceed that boundary, regardless how captivating. If you happen to win, put that in a separate pot. Don’t use your winnings no matter what. Once you have played through your original set limit, stop. Head out, whether it is on the web or at a brick and mortar betting house, don’t stick around. Always remember, there will be another day, another time.
Always remember, gambling should be exciting not backbreaking, nauseating work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you do not belong there. If youcan’t manage the cost, don’t even start.
